два монитора debian 9

Доброго дня
Тема не нова, но необходимо два монитора.
На данный момент подключены оба монитора и оба работают синхронно, т.е. на каждом абсолютно одинаковое изображение.

сам компутер новый, система установлена на него в первый раз.

Хочется чтобы один был основным, а второй дополнительным монитором.

Попробуйте воспользоваться программой arandr, она есть в репозитории.

DE какая? В кедах это все мышкой делается - перетаскиваешь картинку монитора одного относительно другого.

Пробовал arandr ничего там нет интересного, показан один монитор и всё, двух мониторов нет.

У меня как раз KDE что мышкой перетаскивать? в настройках дисплея? там непонятно что делать, так же один монитор.
