Извиняюсь если не выкладываю на соответствующую тему. Уже несколько дней не могу настроить Samba на Debian 10 (buster), Я искал много форумов и в Google, но все конфигурации который я нашел не хотят работать на моей машине с Debian 10. Если есть кто-то, кто может мне помочь, я буду очень благодарен.

Нууу samba то ещё гемор. Я всегда научным тыком настраивал.
Лучшие мануалы гуглятся позапросу настройка cifs debian.
Я по этому нануалу настраивал: https://proft.me/2013/09/1/samba-nastrojka-fajlovogo-obmena-mezhdu-windows-i-/
Там ещё надо смотреть выхлоп логов и дополнительно править.

Заработал сервер, но не понял в чём была причина. По моему cifs не был настроен коректно. спасибо

Всем привет, похоже проблема в пакете gvfs-backends для buster,
apt-get -t bullseye install gvfs-backends решает проблему, решение так же актуально к теме: Samba на Debian 10 не видит сеть Windows.

Салам, может кто подскажет, я на LMDE4 начал поход и samba  не работает,  точнее не могу настроить как тс писал но мне не помоголо, на минтовский форум прошу не отсылать?

я бы тебе посоветовал, не извращаться с LMDE, (сам на нём сидел по началу) а сразу поставить Debian 10, многих проблем в будущем избежишь. Сам сменил Минт, на Дебиан после прилетевшей обновы которая всё поломала, а настроено было много чего. Рекомендую перейти на чистый Дебиан. Моё мнение, чем дальше от оригинала, тем больше ошибок набирает сборка.
