Конечная цель – настроить вентилятор и кнопки управления. Ставим бэклайт и получаем:

Итог: конфликтует с ядром?

При этом пакет формально поставился, т.е. Синаптик считает его установленным, его можно удалить, а при попытке поставить его ещё раз, apt-get отвечает, что и так установлена самая последняя версия. При снесении якобы поставленного пакета, он успешно сносится, при попытке поставить повторяется та же история.

Пробуем поставить samsung-wireless. Он абсолютно не нужен, беспроводная сетка работает и без него, но для чистоты эксперимента пробуем. И получаем:
~$ sudo apt-get install samsung-wireless
samsung-wireless : H?ngt ab von: samsung-wireless-2.6.32-39 soll aber nicht installiert werden
(зависит от samsung-wireless-2.6.32-39, которую установить нельзя).


Едем дальше. Ставим lm-sensors и fancontrol. Успешно ставятся, после этого:

~$ sudo sensors-detect
<опрос по всем адаптерам...>
Sorry, no sensors were detected.

handled by ACPI rather than the OS.

~$ sudo fancontrol

Итог: не видит сенсоров,а посему и фанконтроль не работает.

В БИОСе опции управления вентилятором отсутствуют как класс. А он шумит. Причём шумит по-разному в зависимости от того, идёт ли питание от сети или от батарей. Выдернешь кабель питания - он (вентилятор) на батареях заметно тише становится. Куда посоветуете бежать дальше? :)

P.S. acpid стоит, но толку от него, судя по sensors-detect, как от козла молока.

Что естественно - драйвер для ядра 2.6 требует установки метапакета этого самого ядра 2.6 ==> снесения ядра 3.2 ==> снесения тех приложений, которые (в тех версиях, который сейчас установлены) требуют именно ядра 3.2. Естественно, я этого делать не стал.

Подключите репы wheezy, сделайте
# aptitude update
# aptitude install samsung-wireless

C samsung_backlight та же беда, что и была - не хочет ставиться на  ядро 3.2.
