[РЕШЕНО] debian 7.1 : Как добиться разрешения экрана выше 1024x768?..

Только сегодня впервые начисто установил (посредством 'network installer') последний GNU/Linux Debian с официального сайта со средой рабочего стола Xfce...

Проблема в том, что максимальное разрешение экрана, которое мне предлагает система, - это 1024 на 768... И это при том, что в Windows разрешение у меня сейчас 1920*1080, а монитор 23-рёх-с-половиной-дюймовый...

Помогите, пожалуйста, разобраться...

Я немного поспешил задавать вопрос на форуме, так как хотелось (как всегда) поскорее решить вопрос, терпения не было, слишком суетился, так сказать, и, по всей видимости, неправильно формулировал свои запросы в Гугле, никак не получалось найти формулировку такую, на которую бы Google дал именно нужный ответ... Но потОм, написАв здесь, я будто успокоился (ведь теперь вопрос был точно задан, и оставалось только ждать) и в голове всё утряслось... "Умная мысля....." Попробовал 'поговорить 'с Гуглом'' еще раз - и 'он 'ответил''!..
Пока еще у меня не всё получается, но я стараюсь разобраться... Спасибо!..

P. S. А спешка и суета вызваны тем, что так бывает обидно, когда буквально выкроил совсем немного времени, которого сейчас просто нет, на дело, которое так долго и так сильно хочется уже наконец 'разложить 'по полочкам'', хоть немного, а застряешь на чём-то таком... дурацком... Эх...

Эта тема является продолжением { начало }, так как изначально я столкнулся с данной проблемой в Xfce, там ее победить не смог, решил попробовать другую среду (мало ли), однако и здесь, увы, - то же самое; но так как теперь уже я борюсь с этой проблемой в LXDE, то я подумал (тем более не имея достаточных познаний в Linux'е), что будет не совсем корректно продолжать обсуждение под тегом 'Xfce'... И вот  мы здесь...

Я по-прежнему не могу выставить разрешение, чтобы оно было больше/выше 1024на768...

Расскажу, как я делал и что... { Может, когда-нибудь кому-нибудь хоть как-нибудь да поможет }
'Пообщавшись 'с Гуглом'', я стал искать у себя файл xorg.conf, которого, тем не менее, нигде не нашел вообще... Соответственно, далее я долго искал решение, как его создать (для меня очень важно, чтобы я мог доверять источнику, веренее не чтобы я доверял, а чтобы вообще, источнику бы можно было б доверять), нашел:

Проделав эти манипуляции в терминале из-под root'а, я наконец-то получил свой новый xorg.conf... Ранее я уже нашел немало информации о том, как его можно и нужно редактировать, чтобы получать требуемое разрешение экрана (так сказать, вручную, принудительно)... Тем не менее, записАть все свои редактирования в файл у меня не получалось... Я стал искать, почему, нашел - редактировать нужно также из-под root'а: В терминале под root'ом я запустил Leafpad:

ну а дальше, с помощью меню 'File'>'Open...' в Leafpad'е, открыл свой xorg.conf, отредактировал его и сохранил ('Save')... Получилось вот что:

TSerzhO_, для начала расскажите конечную цель. Если только разрешение, то зачем вам столько Screen-ов ? Поищите по сочетанию Modeline+gtf.

Дело в том, что единственное, что я редактировал в своем xorg'е, - это я добавил строки 'Modes "1920x1080"' (ну и подобавлял 'Depth 32', хотя после уже нашел информацию, что такого делать не нужно, потому как в этом нет смысла... и т. д., и т. п.)... Всё остальное сконфигурировалось и прописАлось само, автоматически... В том числе - и Screen'ы в количестве 3-рёх штук...

С добавлением строк 'Modeline' в секции мониторов я тоже 'игрался' и экспериментировал (мною не отображено в примере), но единственное, что получил, - это черный экран вместо загрузки DE...

Еще хотел бы добавить, что мне удалось добиться временного решения, при котором мое разрешение '1920_1080_60' на время текущей сессии всё-таки удается выставить:

После последней команды - получаю свое разрешение экрана, которое пропадает (откатывается на прежн е '1024х768') после выхода из системы (LogOut), и всё приходится проделывать снова... Естественно, такой вариант меня не устраивает, как не устраивает и 'топорный' вариант добавления всего этого в автозагрузку... Хотелось бы более... цивилизованного решения... Вернее даже не "более цивилизованного", а просто, цивилизованного...

Не знаю, хватит ли уже сегодня сил возиться с МодЛайнами, но за выходные надеюсь всё-таки это поделать... И надеюсь, что у меня хоть что-нибудь получится...

Я не стал удалять ничего, просто 'закомментировал' лишнее и ненужное...

Дальше  я разобрался наконец-таки с моей вечной проблемой в Linux'е - раскладкой клавиатуры (LayOut):

- теперь у меня 3 языка (английский, русский, украинский) переключаются по нажатию сочетания клавиш <Alt>+<Shift>...
Не хватает пока только того, чтоб еще я мог бы видеть, какая же у меня в данный момент включена раскладка, но это уже мелочь... Самое сейчас главное, что теперь уже я могу писАть, не переключаясь на презренный Windows...

Хочу сказать, в продолжение этого (и этого), что не пришлось мне по душе KDE; зато наоборот, очень понравились Xfce, LXDE и OpenBox (из-под которого сейчас я и сижу)... Беря во внимание, как я уже писАл, что для меня является очень близким и 'родным' окружение GNOME с его системой управления пакетами Synaptic (ну нравится мне и всё тут), KDE практически, можно сказать, всухую проиграло (не по одной причине - по многим) и Xfce, и LXDE (в составе которых по умолчанию идет как раз Synaptic), а Xfce, в свою очередь, минимально проиграло LXDE - в основном потому, что LXDE ставится вместе с лёгким и шустрым OpenBox'ом параллельно, ну и визуально LXDE смотрится, как по мне, поприятнее... На красоту, в итоге, я пока, наверно , всё-таки забью... Сначала нужно полностью освоить Linux, почувствовать себя в этой системе, как рыба в воде, а потОм уже можно заморачиваться и наведением красоты и лоска... Да и, по правде сказать, то, как выглядит LXDE, мне нравится больше, чем то, как выглядит GNOME (а для меня с ГНОМа-то всё, как говорится, и начиналось... в свое время)... В общем, поживу пока в LXDE и OpenBox, буду разбираться, учиться... Возможно, в GNOME уже из-под них и не вернусь больше...
