Jessie. Звук отсутствует. Подключен телик по HDMI и колонки к line out.

Товарищи, посмотрел все аналогичные темы на этом форуме. Ничего понятного и полезного для себя не извлек.
Звука нет ни в телике, ни в колонках. Если в vlc выбрать принудительно HD-Audio Generic, ALC887-VD Analog Default Audio Device, то в колонки звук идет... Куда копать? Стоит полный набор alsa-utils, pulseaudio снес (ставил в надежде "чудесного" исцеления).

Как обычно - звук идет по умолчанию в HDMI. Ставьте pulseaudio или смотрите, как изменить порядок звуковых карт в alsa.

alsamixer: все на максимум, кроме микрофонов и line (откл). Режим каналов 2ch.

Интересно, а как можно проверить включена ALSA или нет? А то, в моем случае, помниться, пришлось включать принудительно.

Тоже всё было, а звука не было

Сегодня утром решил подобную проблему с чужим ноутом asus ( к сожалению уже отдал девайс хозевам ) По крайней мере там подобная аналоговая карта. Не могу сейчас отискать тот забугорный линукс форум на память не помню так как тупо скопипастил но аналогично https://www.linux.org.ru/forum/linux-hardware/8703046

I found the solution to this problem a long time ago via some website. Here's what worked for me

# touch /etc/asound.conf
# nano /etc/asound.conf

past the following into the file:
defaults.ctl.card 1
defaults.pcm.card 1
defaults.timer.card 1

reboot system and your sound should work. Make sure your master volume and your speaker volume are turned up. Hope it helps you out!
