У вас windows starter (начальная) наксимальное значение памяти 2 Гб, из низ у вас насколько я понимаю выделяется видеопамять. А в действительности у вас 4 Гб.

Винда 32 видит у тебя 2gb, из низ 500mb это для видео. В Debian: 500mb видео + 400-500 Debian + остальное для тебя ) Как то так!

Нет, это подарок от разработчиков операционной системы MS Windows. Там программное ограничение 2-мя гигами, вот с этих 2-х гб система и забирает видео память.

Проверьте настройки биоса на предмет выделения памяти для видео.

Почитай спецификацию: сколько выделяется памяти для видео, можно ли регулировать ко-во выделяемой памяти в биосе. И все у тебя получится с циферками.
