Здраствуйте!
Установил сегодня DEBIAN 6.0.4, целый день мучаюсь с настройкой wifi... Никак не получаеться... Подскажите пожалуйста как правильно установить драйвера, настроить wifi для моей карточки...

Спасибо, подскажите, а если нету интернета проводного, только по воздуху, в котором не работает wifi, как организовать всю эту процедуру?

Если коротко, то подсунуть нужные пакеты и установить их.

Скачать на другом компьютере, записать на флешку, вставить в Ваш и установить.
dpkg -i путь_к_пакету

подключился к проводному интернету... установил firmware iwlwifi... но адаптер так нигде и не обнаружился...

Подскажите пожалуйста еще, вроде как тут http://wireless.kernel.org/en/users/Drivers/iwlwifi
нашел драйвера для своего адаптера... как правильно их нужно установить?

я скопировал файл в каталог /lib/firmware...
Или нужно еще пересобирать ядро?

lancer5610. Попробуйте произвести такие действия:
Проверьте, добавлены ли в файле /etc/apt/sources.list слова contrib non-free в конце каждой строки. Если нет, то добавьте.
Установите Synaptic, если ещё не ставили, с ним проще и нагляднее. Нажмите в Synaptic кнопочку "Получить сведения" обновятся источники пакетов. Установите следующие пакеты: firmware-linux, firmware-linux-free, firmware-linux-nonfree, firmware-iwlwifi. Судя по описанию пакет firmware-iwlwifi должен поддерживать ваш Network controller: Intel Corporation WiFi 130 Series.
Затем перезагружайтесь и опять выполняйте # ifconfig -a
