Добрый день!
Поставил Debian Wheezy .... Gnome 3 режим не работает /синие квадраты в место икон/, Classic режим работает .... после установил родной драйвер Nvidia - Gnome 3 -   заставка появилась но Gnome 3 работает супер медленно / практически не работает/ Classic режим работает нормамально.

хотя вы же на семерке.
воть энтот пробовали? xserver-xorg-video-nvidia-legacy-173xx, опять же из non-free.

пробывал не работает /экран в квадратах наверно место положения иконок?/ сейчас стоит родной Nvidia driver ... не понятно где смотреть ошибки / открыл xterm в gnome3 ...уходит 5 мин на это ..
запустил top ... CPU занят где то 20 % - 40 % / в интернете не нашел как проверить шаг за шагом работу gnoma 3  .....

посмотрите здесь:

$HOME/.xsession-errors
/var/log/messages

а так же
lspci -v покажет вам какое железо и какие дрова к нему.
можете даже сравнить вывод с сюсей и посмотреть какие дрова у него стоят.

я так же сильно подозреваю, что поддержку вашей карточки убрали из дров, указанных по вашей ссылке, но я не уверен, нужно проверять.

зашел по ssh посмотрел топ ... 80% CPU жрет gnome-shell
да этот driver  и стоит у меня

OpenSUSE /Live CD/ на котором работает : Хorg 1.12.3 Pixman 0.24.4 Xorg video driver 12.0
на последним OpenSUSE /Live CD/ не работает : Xorg 1.13.2 Pixman 0.28.2 Xorg video driver 13.1

я даже не знаю куда смотреть. может, проблема не в дровах, а в гноме?
может, установить другое ДЕ и попробовать проверить там работу видеокарты?
Быть может, вы не обновлялись?

я начинаю сомневаться, что проблема в дровах. гном3 вообще очень ресурсоемкий, но раз у вас работала нормально под сусей, то там проблема либо в версиях иксов, либо в дебиане. беглое гугление показывает, что подобная проблема была/есть и на арче, и на генту, и на дебиане, но там везде решение не универсальное.

да, возможно от версии  Xorg зависит.

Купил новую карту Nvidia 6200 - сейчас Gnome 3  работает а FX 5600 поставил на компьютер с FreeBSD 9.0 ....
