С мышью такая проблема - когда нажимаешь правую кнопку срабатывает двойное нажатие, например если выделить текст, а потом нажать правую кнопку мыши, то будет выполнено первое действие в списке - вырезать и меню сразу закрывается. В терминале тоже самое, при нажатии правой кнопки мыши выполняется первое действие меню - открывается новый терминал. В общем это полный трындец.
Мышь A4Tech X7. Вроде как раньше нужно было править xorg.conf, но в данный момент его уже не существует, но если верить написанному здесь его можно создать и положить на прежнее место в etc/x11/xorg.conf Вот только что именно туда писать я не знаю, актуальную документацию по заполнению xorg.conf я тоже не нашел.

qupl, да именно оно. Вот только не знаю как это победить. Вроде как раньше нужно было добавлять в xorg.conf в Section "InputDevice" строку Option "CorePointer". Но из-за того, что сам xorg.conf сейчас уже отсутствует я не знаю как должно выглядеть его полное содержимое. Естественно знаниями, как его сконфигурировать самостоятельно, я не владею. Если кто-то может скинуть ссылку на актуальную информацию о том как это можно сделать (желательно на русском) или поможет с ним разобраться буду признателен.

PS. После беглого прочтения форумов выяснилось, что похоже эта проблема у всех пользователей linux с мышами A4Tech.

Поместил в /etc/X11/xorg.conf, в логе xorg видно, что теперь конфигурация считывается из этого файла, но результат по прежнему нулевой.

Вывел в терминале (Event Tester) печать событий X сервера в виде текста:

Как я понимаю однократное нажатие кнопки на самом деле раскладывается на два действия: первое - нажатие, второе - отпускание... То есть формально повторения не происходит, но при этом такое впечатление, что что-то (драйвер или скрипт) воспринимает второе действие как отдельную команду.
Брал для проверки другую мышь Super Power (обычная на 800dpi без доп. кнопок) - все работает нормально :-\ В общем я не знаю что с этим можно сделать. Другую мышь покупать из-за того что линух не хочет работать с A4Tech кажется бредом... Может у кого-то есть мысли по этому поводу? Уже целый день бьюсь так и не понял как сделать.

Да, действительно странно. Я ничего похожего не наблюдал на 3-х беспроводных мышах от A4Tech. Бывают глюки с беспроводной клавиатурой, от этой же фирмы, но мне кажется это из-за заряда аккумуляторов, так как смена решает проблему.

PS: в качестве DE использую KDE4 и тестинга.

Ради интереса взял мышь Razer Imperator  с доп. программируемыми кнопками - все работает нормально. Причем сразу и доп. кнопки работают и основные, даже переключение dpi работает. Отсюда вывод - A4Tech лучше не покупать.

Пользовался одно время A4Tech X5-50D. Нареканий не было, но через какое-то время началась дёргаться прокрутка при использовании колёсика. Сначала грешил на software, но проблема оказалась в самой мыши. Так что бывает иногда так, что проблема не в ОС, а в самом устройстве.

Бывает, но это не тот случай. У меня есть три одинаковых мыши A4Tech X7 и со всеми одинаковый баг. Плюс к этому многочисленные сообщения с других форумов о точно таком же поведении мышей A4Tech. Причем в винде ничего подобного не наблюдается.
