Установка драйверов на ATI Radeon HD 2400 PRO (256MB)

Здравствуйте, Поставил Debian wheezy, xfce4.8. Скачал скрипт для установки дров на видеокарту:  sudo cd /usr/local/bin && wget -Nc smxi.org/sgfxi && chmod +x sgfxi, но при установке выдалась ошибка:

В чем проблема? Может поставить другой драйвер?

Нет, не нужно. По пробуйте Xorg -configure и в полученном файле найдите строку Driver, там если нет, впишите "radeon". Файл переместите командой mv /root/xorg.conf.new /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Да все норм. Вот только игры через вино не работают. Требуют OpenGL вроде

Библиотеки mesa glx, доступны в репозитории. Их устанавливают отдельно.

Пытаюсь запустить Counter-Strike 1.6, искал по mesa, но выдает много пакетов. У меня стоят:

libgl1-mesa-glx
libgl1-mesa-dri
glx-alternative-mesa
вот я и интересуюсь, чего еще не хватает.

ATI/AMD initially dropped Catalyst support for these cards in the regular Catalyst 12-6. These cards are now supported with the later released Catalyst 13-1 legacy, but you MUST use a kernel <= 3.4 and Xserver <= 1.12. For example, you can use Catalyst 13-1 legacy if you're running Ubuntu 12.04 or Debian Squeeze/6.0. Open source support is good and 3D is still improving.

все нормально. Я просто снес результаты работы скрипта и поставил свободные дрова.
