Не печатет принтер по сети

Модель принтера (МФУ): HP LaserJet Pro M125r (HP саппорт)
Есть машина Linux dev 3.2.0-85-generic #122-Ubuntu SMP Tue May 26 16:14:57 UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Воткнул МФУ напрямую в машину, дрова нашлись автоматом, принтер печатет, запомнил какой драйвер система выбрала: HP LaserJet Pro CP1025nw Foomatic/foo2zjs-z3 (recommended)

Далее настраиваю МФУ по сетке. С мастайными машинами проблем нет. На моей машине, добаляю принтер с соответствующими дровами:

Нигде не ругается.
Далее пробую печатать, пишет задание добавлено в очередь, а принтер не шевелится...

А пробовали через Cups настроить?

doctor@tardis, Вы имеете ввиду веб-интерфейс cups? Вроде там никаких иных настроек нет по сравнению с системным интерфейсом добавления принтера... Тем не менее, попробовал через него добавить, тот же результат.

Обратил внимание на журнал ошибок. Это проскакивает при пробной печати:

hp-check прогнал с параметром -r, выполнил что просил: добавил юзера в группу lp, установил пакет python-qt4-dbus, после этого снёс-добавил принтер, та же фигня.

Попробуйте настроить принтер через cups, выбрав другой URI. В принципе если он (принтер) открыт, то cups должен его автоматически найти.

PS: все-таки это форум по Debian, а не по Ubuntu.

cups и так его видит, первый раз когда настраивал, то URI не вводил - выбрал предложенный. Дальше пробовал вместо имени компа прописывать ip, результат не меняется. Какой ещё URI я могу прописать?

Попробовал по этому мануалу.
Вот что вышло:

Не понял что в качестве пути в URI указывать, пробовал ставить по-умолчанию /queue и сетевое имя принтера.
Результат один: "Sending print data" -> "Connecting to printer" -> "Printer is not responding"

Обновляйте hplip до версии 3.14.3, так как на сайтах hplipopensource.com и ubuntuhandbook.org написано, что принтер имеет полную поддержку, но для версий hplip выше 3.14.x. Так же выбирайте драйвер что-то в роде следующего hp_laserjet_pro_mfp_m125rnw. И не забудьте установить plugin для hplip.

PS: обновлять hplip лучше на всех машинах работающих с этим принтером.
