Debian 8 растет число UDMA CRC Error Count в SMART жесткого диска

В общем проблема такова. Решил я на домашнем сервачке обновить программное обеспечение, и перейти с Linux Mint Debian Edition, на чистый Debian 8. А так как нынче в Debian используется systemd в место init, а он зверь мне не знакомый, перед окончательной установкой на сервер решил обкатать данный дистрибутив на ноутбуке, т.к. он имеет схожую начинку.
Еб... ой т.е. игрался я на ноуте с ним 5-10 дней Устанавливал переустанавливал, ставил удалял различные пакеты, очень часто перезагружал. И уже тогда стал замечать что число UDMA CRC Error росло и за эти 5-10 дней с 0 выросло до 5179. Но особого значения тогда не предал, подумал что диску приходит кирдык, хоть он почти новый. Диск в ноуте Seagate. Ну и собственно поставил это дистрибутив на сервер. Диск в сервере Hitachi. В итоге +35 CRC Error за время установки и настройки. А после дня работы сервера, на утро обнаружил что два раздела диска из трех перемонтированы только на чтение и ещё около 100 UDMA CRC Error Count в SMART'е уже Hitachi.
Т.к. под Windows на ноутбучном Segete ошибок было 0 и сейчас так же стабильно 5179 и не растет. Аналогичная ситуация с hitachi в сервере за 2-3 года пока стоял Linux Mint DE ни прибавилось ни одного CRC Error. Предполагаю что проблема где то в дистрибутиве Debiana. А вот куда копать не знаю. Может кто сталкивался???

Первое поможет, как просмотр системного журнала; второе как вывод всех атрибутов smart /dev/sdX.
Можно ещё попробовать увеличть verbosity smartmontools, если таковое имеется. Т.е. увеличить вывод в журналы (читай как log`и).

Да и пока не забыл. SMART вроде как не "флешка" и сбросить не получится. Другими словами, если это косяк работы с диском и работа будет корректной, то всё равно SMART всё запомнит и не простит)

Больше желания экспериментировать с дистрибутивом debiana нет, откатился назад на Linux Mint DE и вот уже 12 часов полет нормальный, т.е. снова никаких проблем с дисками.

А желание пропало после того как попытался скопировать syslog с начала на третий раздел Hitachi, который всё ещё был доступен на запись. Он вроде скопировался, но через секунду появилось вместо одного файла syslog куча файлов с названием из мусора которые тоже очень быстро исчезли. Итог +200 crc errors в smart и перемонтированный раздел только на чтение. Далее был разбужен из сна диск с бекапом (western digital) и syslog скопирован туда. Вроде даже успешно. После выключил комп. При завершении работы повылазило ещё куча ошибок диска. А вот когда снова включил комп, то меня ожидал не приятный сюрприз в виде сообщения bios что дескать MBR на диске WD(бекап) error. Далее неудачная попытка загрузки системы, не может смонтировать диски долго думает и затем монтирует только на чтение.

IMO, it's something other than your drive. A few observations:

1) FPDMA is a NCQ function. NCQ requires the SATA controller to be in AHCI mode or RAID mode. If you have an old mobo, it's possible that there are 'issues' with the AHCI implementation. It may even be possible that your controller isn't in AHCI/RAID mode at all, and the commands were sent due to a bug.

2) A mobo of mine has issues when the controller is in AHCI mode. When I put the controller in RAID mode the problem disappears. RAID mode includes all the features/functions of AHCI, and Intel recommends using RAID mode rather than AHCI (Source), if only because 'you might want to use it at some point'.

3) On the Ubuntu bug report linked by cpatrick08, post 126 recommended disabling NCQ on SSDs because "SSD drives don't need to optimze the order of disk operationsm apparently it causes some errors". FWIW, Wikipedia disagrees. Still, it could be a good work-around if the errors are causing performance issues.

1 Собственно и на сервере и на ноутбуке в биусе стоит режим работы контролера в ACHI mode.
2 RAID mode нету на сервере по тому что чипсет урезанный, а на ноуте потому что ноутбук.
3 У меня обычные жесткие диски на сервере, в ноутбуке есть ssd msata и обычный и проблемы с обычным. SSD я не монтировал, да и пункт crc error в smart у него отсутствует.

Сейчас поставил чистый образ, вроде пока чистый не глючит, хотя тестировал мало минут 20.

Образ debian взят отсюда и установлена только базовая система.

Как действует all-generic-ide, я, примерно, понимаю:
форсируется использование generic ide драйвера (есть такой),
который не использует каких-либо специфичеых для чипсетов
фишек, а работает по честному стандарту протокола.

В общем поэкспериментировал ещё. Проблема не в моих скриптах и установленных мной пакетах. Чистый дистрибутив тоже глючит. Более внимательно изучил syslog и похоже что проблема возникает вот из за этого.

Попробовал сразу кардинальный способ acpi=off, ошибки естественно пропадают. Но к сожалению это не решает моей проблемы. Соответственно делаем вывод, что выше указанные ошибки, оказались не связанные с моей проблемой. Так же посмотрел логи в linux mint, там тоже есть эти ошибки, но диски там работают без проблем.

По драйверам глянул на сайте вроде тоже поддерживаются.

Я уже и не знаю что можно сделать ещё, других ошибок в syslog нету. Буду ждать когда появится новое ядро для Jessie или Stretch. Если найду время, то попробую ещё 32 битную версию Jessie. А пока буду сидеть на стареньком mint DE.

Рискну предположить, что слишком увлекся игрушкой.
Почитай там в конце приведенную ссылку, все хорошо описано, что это такое.
Сам параметр kernel/perf_event_max_sample_rate — параметр sysctl, определяет максимальную частоту дискретизации - по умолчанию 100000.
Так же рекомендую посмотреть, после такого сообщения, вывод $ grep . -r /sys/firmware/acpi/interrupts/ на предмет больших значений gpe
PS...........можешь не фиксить, просто сначала определи, от чего это у тебя.

Но, например, классика nouveau и nvidia; только один open, а второй proprietary.
Если же предположить что оба модуля open и они конфликтуют, то два варианта:
1. Да, действительно есть "некая не хорошая совместимость" кода, приводящая, например к неправильной адресации "где-то там"
2. Первый вариант спровацирован "железом", т.е. firmware вашего устройства приводят к таким коллизиям

Я пытался это прочитать, но там достаточно сложные технические понятия, и моего знания английского не хватает, что бы сложить единую и понятную картину в голове.

Причём уменьшена навсегда, и самому ручками менять ничего не надо. Но вот что хотелось понять, какое влияние это оказывает на работоспособность компа. Будет ли что то работать не так как задумывалось, скажем не на полную мощность, или всё как работало так и будет работать дальше??? Лично я, изменений не замечаю.
У меня эти сообщения появляются при длительном хешировании торентов, всего один раз, сначала вот это

Что касается конфликтов ACPI,  как я понял проблемы возникают у тех, у кого вот в этой штуке ошибки исчисляются сотнями, а то и тысячами, да и жалуются в основном на частое зависание, либо на большую загрузку процессора.

у меня всего 4 при загрузке и дальше не растет, следовательно я этими модулями и не пользуюсь. Ничего не зависает и загрузка процессора адекватная для процессов которые запущенны.
Можно, конечно, отключить эти модули с микрокодом, но зачем если даже полное отключения ACPI не решает основную проблему с дисками??? А всё остальное вроде нормально работает.

Возможно тут я вас не совсем правильно понял. Как я понимаю конфликтуют модули ACPI BIOS с драйверами в ядре. А так как эти модули, микрокода, поставляются разными фирмами, производителями деталек на плате, а уж потом собираются изготовителем платы в единый BIOS, велика вероятность что некоторые из них всё же proprietary.
Да и собственно особого желания выяснять кто виноват у меня нету. Меня как пользователя должно больше волновать каким костылем это исправить.


Как и обещал попробовал 32 битную версию Debian 8 Jessie, за 4 дня нет ни одной ошибки в syslog связанной с дисками, работает отлично, CRC Error Count не растет. Правда есть всё те же ошибки с ACPI и kernel.perf_event_max_sample_rate, но как и в linux mint ни как себя не проявляют, всё работает, устранять их желания нет. Как говорится, работает не трогай!!!

Итог: Ноутбук Windows 7 (64) затем Windows XP (32), диски работают без ошибок. 8)
        Сервак Linux Mint DE 1 (amd64) ~2013, Debian 8 i386 (i686 pae) диски работают без ошибок.  8)
        Debian 8 (amd64) сыпятся CRC ошибки и в какой то момент диски становятся доступны только на чтение и там и тут.  :o
