И где-то нужно прописать инверсию для устройства Mouse для udev?

Ошибок в них нет.  Вы остальные созданные конфиги в других местах (если есть) переместите пока в домашний каталог.

В логе видно что ваш конфиг обработался?
Где-то пишут, что через ГУИ меняют тип скроллинга. Я бы еще посмотрел значение свойств для мыши.

Провёл эксперимент.

Создал файл:

sudo nano /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/50-invertaxes.conf

с таким содержимым:

Обратить внимание на значение "MatchProduct" (взято из моей системы по команде):

xinput list

Если установить не соответствеющее значение, работать не будет.

После перезагрузки Х-сервера инверсия появилась, значит конфиг читается и всё работает.

Следовательно имеет место ошибка автора при создании конфигов или нужно задавать вопросы авторам OS "bunsenlabs Helium".

Конфиг читается, результата нет. Видимо что-то, более позднее по процессу загрузки, меняет обработку движений мыши. Больше я ничего предположить не могу. Спасибо за помощь

Видимо моя волшебная мышь сама решает как и когда ей работать, да ещё успевает в конфиги заглянуть раньше загрузчика ;D ;D
Безумно интересно чем вызван этот феномен, но тратить столько времени на мышь уж слишком нерационально. Поменял мышку - работает нормально. Если у кого будут идеи по данной теме - в свободное время поэкспериментируем и проверим. Мышу с "автоинверсией" не выбрасываю, систему не меняю

- конфиг в вашем каталоге не читается системой (тогда его нужно переместить в другой каталог)
- неверно или с ошибкой указана строка "MatchProduct".

Попробуйте по очереди такие секции в конфиге:
