Aspid , в новом Ядре будет присутствовать и новая версия ALSA , но это не гарантирует нормальную работу звукового тракта , всё равно нужно разобраться со звуковым чипсетом .
Выложите вывод консольных команд :
lsmod | grep -i snd_hda_intel
cat /proc/asound/card0/codec* | grep Codec

После попытки обновления слетел пароль рут и пропали пункты меню Система-Параметры и Система-Администрирование
а ядро так и осталось 2.3.6 Убил день ,в баню не пошел и все на смарку:) >:(

Если скачивать с : http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/weekly-builds/i386/iso-cd/ , MD5  - то это еженедельные тестовые сборки
и на них нет ссылок на торрент , тогда их нужно скачивать загрузчиком поддерживающим докачку ,
на подобии плагина FF/Iceweasel - DownThemAll , поддерживающем многопоточную закачку с контролем суммы MD5


                      


P.S. сделайте так => выполните терминальную команду :wget http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-info.sh && chmod +x alsa-info.sh && ./alsa-info.sh --stdout > alsa-info.txt
после успешного выполнения в домашней папке появиться текстовый файл alsa-info.txt , затем выложите его в ответе под спойлер ...

Привет!
Я проверил простую схему по решению 1 вопроса - звук;
Всё решается просто: реально скачиваешь debian wheeze с вышеуказанного сайта - все работает с "коробки")))
НО...
GавноGnome 3 defolt-но стоит на dvd-1(((  >:(  >:(  >:(
и еще момент мучает:
